The Santa Rosa Tool Library is a Tax Exempt Public Charity
The Santa Rosa Tool Library provides hand and power tools for home repair, landscaping, and automotive work, free of charge. There is only an overdue fee if a tool is returned past the due date. The tool library is run entirely by volunteers and is a 501(c)3 Public Charity.
Who can borrow tools
• Sonoma County residents or people who work in Sonoma County
• Must be at least 18 years old
Required ID
• Valid California DMV issued photo ID
• Recent Mail or proof of inscurance with current address
How do I start borrowing
1) Drop by during open hours to register.
2) At your first visit you will be asked to review our Borrowers Rules and fill out a Borrowers Agreement. Click here for a copy you can print out, complete, and returned to us at your first visit.
3) You will also be asked to present a valid California DMV photo ID and recent mail or proof of insurance with your current address.
4) Feel free to call us to see if a tool is available. If so we will hold it through the next business day. If the tool is not available we will add you to a waiting list. Once available you will have 3 days (Including the day we contact you) to pick up your tools.
